“Wild Wing Cafe” is a chain restaurant with a focus on chicken wings and good beer. We took a road trip recently on our way to down Florida and decided to stop in at the Marietta, Georgia location for some hot and spicy food. I’ve been to multiple “Wild Wing Cafe” locations, and the Marietta spot is top notch. Tucked into the corner of a simple strip mall, the outside opens into a patio area where Friday night groups wait for their tables to become available. Continue reading →
I’d like to pay a compliment to Kramer’s Wing Rubs. I did a review of 3 of their spicy wing rubs, which we at Chili Pepper Madness greatly enjoyed. You can find the review here. I had noted in my review that the rubs have a strong smokiness, perhaps a bit too much for some consumers. I had tried the rubs on shrimp, fish, and vegetables. Heavy Metal fan? Here’s a product with serious ties to the Heavy Metal scene, a hot sauce created by Steve Seabury, author of the cookbook “Mosh Potatoes”, a collection of recipes from the biggest bands in Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. You don’t have to be a head banger to enjoy this hot sauce, though Steve might recommend it. He sent along a bottle of his newest sauce, “Hellacious Hot Sauce”, which was the featured hot sauce for the Metalliance Tour.
Before we begin, a note from the bottle: “Warning. This hot sauce isn’t for the faintof heart or people who listen to False Metal. Use at your own risk.” Continue reading →
