On our recent trip to Italy, we visited several wineries that also produced olive oil. This was a wonderful surprise because, while we love wine, we love olive oil even more. Especially fresh olive oil. The process of making olive oil in Italy is interesting, with the locals pouring out at harvest time to help produce the oil, donating their time for olive oil in return.
