A Spicy Grilled Corn Recipe

We enjoyed a backyard barbecue this week and since corn is in season, we’ve been trying to get as much of it as possible. Corn is always outstanding on the grill. Half the time you don’t even need to season it. You just grill it up and eat. We decided to have a little fun with our grilled corn this time by rubbing it down with habanero powder, brushing it with a spicy garlic mayo, then rolling it in crumbled cheese. The result? Bliss. Making Shrimp Scampi Spicy

“Scampi” means “prawn” in Italian. That seems odd, as the word has come to be synonymous with the butter sauce. Regardless, it’s darned delicious. In the Madness household, however, we prefer our meals to be spicy and we love to incorporate chili peppers as often as we can. Two of our favorite ways include introducing roasted jalapeno peppers or the fiery habanero.
