Horseradish-Feta Topped Filet Mignon

Steak lovers have most likely ordered tender Filet Mignon topped with sharp feta cheese, but we’ve got the perfect way to make it even sharper. Horseradish! For this recipe, we chose a spiky hot and creamy horseradish from Williamette Valley Mustards. So good. This creamy cheese topping will melt into your tongue and let your mouth know you’re eating something nice and spicy!
Ingredients
- 2 6-ounce filet mignon cuts
- 1 tablespoon feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon creamy horseradish
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- Spray oil
Cooking Directions
- Set oven to broil.
- Sprinkle each filet with chili powder (use 1 teaspoon between them)
- Lightly coat a baking dish with spray oil and add filets. Broil 8 minutes, then flip and broil another 6 minutes for medium, depending on thickness of steaks.
- Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, combine horseradish, feta cheese and chili powder. Mix well.
- Divide horseradish mixture and top each steak, then broil about 1 minute.
- Remove and let steaks set 3 minutes. Serve!
