Italian Style Meatloaf with Roasted Poblano Peppers

This thick and flavorful meatloaf will satisfy any serious hunger. The balance of Italian sausage and ground beef is a strong combination, and the addition of the roasted poblano peppers brings the multiple flavors together.
Ingredients
- 10 ounces Italian sausage
- 10 ounces ground beef
- 2 poblano peppers, roasted and chopped
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasonings
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 cup Italian style breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup fresh Parmesan cheese
Cooking Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine meats with roasted poblano peppers, seasonings, breadcrumbs and egg.
- Mix well.
- Form meat into a flat loaf and set onto a lightly oiled baking dish.
- Bake about 35 minutes, or until meat is cooked through.
- Top with Parmesan cheese and bake an additional 3-5 minutes, or until cheese is nicely melted.
- Serve!
NOTES: Try adding a cup of tomato sauce to this recipe for even more of an Italian flare.
