Seared Cabbage with Anaheim Peppers

Gone are the days of boiling cabbage. Searing it over medium-high heat with chili peppers will give you an entirely new perspective on cabbage.

Ingredients

• 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  
• 4 Anaheim peppers, chopped
  
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
  
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  
• Juice from 1 lime

Cooking Directions

1. Add all ingredients except lime juice to a saute pan.
   
2. Saute over medium heat about 20 minutes.
   
3. Stir frequently and be sure to scrape the brown bits off the bottom of the saute pan as they contain much of the favor.
   
4. Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with lime juice.
   
5. Serve.
