• 2 large green or red bell peppers
• 1 lb. ground beef
• 1 medium white onion, diced
• 2 1/2 cups cooked Jasmine white rice, set aside
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 teaspoon Cajun or hot pepper seasoning
• 2 15 ounce cans tomato sauce
• 8 tablespoons honey

Cooking Directions:

1. In a large frying pan, add onion and ground beef. Sautee until beef is browned.
2. Drain fat and add prepared rice, garlic, and seasonings. Mix well.
3. Slice bell peppers in half. Remove caps and seeds. Rince.
4. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 can of tomato sauce and 4 tablespoons honey. Mix well.
5. Add tomato sauce to frying pan with beef and rice.
6. In same mixing bowl, combine remaining tomato sauce and honey. Set aside.
7. Spoon the beef and rice mixture into bell pepper halves.
8. Arrange stuffed bell peppers in a greased baking dish.
9. Pour reserved tomato honey sauce over the stuffed peppers and bake 1 hour at 325 degrees F.
10. Cool and serve!
