Yaki Udon

How to Make

I made a triple size batch and it was demolished by family with 3 teen boys in a matter of moments. SO. GOOD. ~ Rion



– Prepare the yaki udon noodles.


– Make the yaki udon sauce.


– Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large pan over high heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then stir fry until cooked through. Set the chicken onto a plate and set aside.


– Heat the remaining oil in the hot wok or pan. Add the mushrooms and cook, stirring. – Add the onions, carrots and cabbage. Cook, stirring often, until the vegetables are softened to your preference. – Add the garlic and stir fry.


– Add the noodles, cooked chicken, scallions (green onions) and prepared sauce. Stir fry to heat through, until the liquid has evaporated. – Serve!
