General Tso's Chicken

This recipe is INSANELY good. I would recommend this for an easy week night meal prep, or if you are really trying to wow someone! It was very easy and cheap. We didn’t have the Thai chilis or anything like that, just used jalapeños and it was still so amazing. I’ve tried to make things like this before and none even come close to how good this one is. Definitely making this again!!! ~ Liam

– Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, chili sauce, chicken broth, and cornstarch in a medium sized bowl. Set aside until ready to use.

– Add the chicken pieces in a bowl with the cornstarch and salt and pepper to taste. Toss to coat.

– Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok and swirl to coat. Cook the chicken until the each side of the chicken forms a crispy golden brown crust.

– When the chicken is nearly cooked through, remove it from the pan and set it aside. – Reduce the heat to medium and add the hot peppers, garlic, ginger and scallions. Stir fry for 30 seconds.

– Add the reserved sauce and reserved chicken to the wok and bring to a simmer. Toss to combine. Cook until the chicken is cooked through.

Garnish and serve!
