Ingredients

  • 2 boneless or bone-in pork chops about 1-inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard or use Dijon
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt or to taste

Instructions

  • Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels for better browning. It also helps the seasoning stick.
  • In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt.
  • Brush both sides of the pork chops with olive oil and mustard. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer - do not overcrowd. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature hits 145°F (63°C). Cooking time will depend on the thickness of your pork chops and your air fryer model. Bone-in pork chops may need 1-2 minutes longer. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
  • Remove to a plate and rest for 3-5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Serve.
