10ouncesmixed red chili peppers~285 g (I'm using a blend of cayenne, red jalapeno, red serrano, and cherry peppers from my garden - use your favorites with heat levels you prefer)
3ouncesgarlicchopped (~85 g) (use 4 ounces/113 g for more pronounced garlic flavor)
¾cupapple cider vinegar~180 ml (or use red wine vinegar)
¼teaspoonsaltor to taste, ~ 1.5 g
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a small pot or saucepan.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes to soften.
Cool slightly then transfer to a food processor or blender. Blend until very smooth.
Taste and adjust for salt. Add water or more vinegar 1-2 tablespoons at a time to thin to your desired consistency, if needed.
