Ingredients

FOR A SIMPLE, CLASSIC BLOODY MARY

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 4 ounces tomato juice
  • ½ ounce fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1-2 dashes hot sauce use a Louisiana style, like Tabasco or Crystal
  • Salt and pepper to taste

FOR A SPICY BLOODY MARY

  • ½-1 teaspoon prepared horseradish use HOT for extra spicy
  • 3 extra dashes hot sauce or to taste
  • 1 dash celery salt

FOR AN EXTRA SPICY BLOODY MARY

  • 1 hot pepper sliced - heat level to your preference. Habanero is GREAT here for EXTRA spicy!

GARNISH

  • Celery stick, lemon wedge or lime wedge, green olives, pickled asparagus, pickle, crispy bacon, spicy shrimp – let your imagination run wild!

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake until well combined and chilled.
  • Strain into a glass. Garnish and serve.
