Mississippi Pot Roast

How to Make

This was a great recipe. I have some people that don't like spice so I made a packet of gravy for them but I loved the gravy from the roast. It was a nice slow heat and tasted great. Thanks for sharing the recipe. ~ Justin H

Season and brown the meat in a hot pan, then add to your crock pot.

1

– Add the pepperoncini peppers, beef broth, and a stick of butter. – Cover and cook the pot roast until the meat is melt-in-your-mouth tender.

2

– Look at how tender the meat gets. So tender and juicy!

3

– Shred the meat and return it to the pot.

4

– For your gravy, strain the cooking liquid and reserve the pepperoncinis, if desired. Thicken the gravy in the pan with the cornstarch slurry, then serve it over the Mississippi pot roast. Boom! Done!
