The Beautiful Simplicity of Shrimp Tacos
This is a continuation of our collection of posts from Topsail Island, North Carolina. What a great trip! We mentioned finding a wonderful roadside seafood stand with fresh seafood available, caught fresh from the ocean. While there were a number of restaurants available to choose from with seafood on the menu, we couldn’t resist buying our own fresh seafood and making our own meal. After spending time on the beach and after all the travel, the first night we wanted something simple, and to me, simple is Shrimp Tacos.

Topsail Island, NC – Seafood Heaven
We at Madness (that’s really Mike and Patty) decided on a Seafood Madness exploratory trip in order to celebrate 15 wonderful years together. We love beach trips, but we also love exploring what areas have to offer in terms of food and culture. Having been to Myrtle Beach a few years ago, we knew we liked the general area, but were looking for something a bit less commercial.
