Buffalo Chicken Sliders Ingredients
The full ingredients list with measurements is listed in the printable recipe card at the bottom of the post.
- Cooked Shredded Chicken. You can also use leftover shredded chicken breast or thigh, or store bought rotisserie chicken as a time saver. Or, learn how to make shredded chicken at home.
- Buffalo Sauce. Try my awesome homemade buffalo sauce, or use your favorite brand.
- Blue Cheese Dressing. Or use ranch dressing, if you prefer.
- Slider Buns. King's Hawaiian rolls are popular.
- Shredded Cheese. Mozzarella cheese is great, here, as is Monterey jack cheese or spicy pepper jack cheese. Any melty cheese will work.
- Butter.
- For Topping. Red pepper flakes, fresh chopped parsley.
How to Make Buffalo Chicken Sliders - the Recipe Method
To make buffalo chicken sliders, mix together tender shredded chicken in a large bowl with buffalo sauce and blue cheese or ranch dressing.
Spread out the bottoms of the slider rolls onto a lightly oiled baking sheet.

Layer the buns first with shredded cheese, then the saucy Buffalo chicken, then more cheese.
Add the tops of the slider buns, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with red pepper flakes.

Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees F (175C), or until the cheese is melted and the bun tops are nicely browned.
Boom! Done! Your spicy buffalo chicken sliders ready to serve. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and enjoy! These look so good, don't they? I think I could eat 10 of these! YUM.

Recipe Tips & Notes
- Try my easy shredded chicken recipe to make it as spicy as you'd like. It's so much better when you make at home.
- Drizzle your sliders right out of the oven with extra buffalo sauce or hot sauce, ranch dressing, or blue cheese dressing for an extra burst of flavor.
- Prepare the buffalo chicken mixture and shredded cheese ahead of time for quicker assembly later. Perfect for parties!
Storage & Leftovers
Leftover buffalo chicken sliders will last 2-3 days in the refrigerator in a sealed container. They do tend to get a bit soggy, though. You can reheat them on a baking sheet in the oven to enjoy again.
Try wrapping them in aluminum foil before reheating.
Leftover shredded buffalo chicken can be stored separately in a sealed container in the refrigerator, or frozen, for assembling sliders at a later time.

Oops! My mistake, Art! It should have been "chicken". "Ground Chicken" is for this recipe: Spicy Ground Chicken Sliders (With Buffalo Sauce): https://www.chilipeppermadness.com/recipes/spicy-chicken-sliders/

This looked too easy not to make. So I did. Kind of. I bought a rotisserie chicken (traditional flavor means no flavor so I won't do THAT again). I forgot got to grab my measuring cups or spoons. So...the butter was no problem. It's already measured. and into the pot. I poured in hot sauce until I figured it was a half cup worth...more or less (mostly more). The spices got dumped in until I said...ENOUGH! Stirred it up and let it cool. Uncle Wally had brat buns on sale, so I got those instead of Hawaiian sweet rolls. A sprinkling if Mozarella cheese and we were set. oh...no blue cheese. I dont think we missed it. Mike, I gotta tell ya...a family of three gives this 4 thumbs up (I made it...I get two votes.) We'll have these again!
